This is an art short movie that I did for a joint art show "E-Motion". It was my first attempt at this type of medium. I drew each frame, scanned it into the computer, and put it into the program I was working with. It was a challenge, but a lot of fun. I completed 8 movies. I would love some feedback.

Surroundings

My newest art show, "Surroundings", opens this Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at Liz Argyle's Photograhy and Fine Art Studio, South 3rd Street, Newark.

Post Expressions

Post Expressions open this Friday, August 6, 2010. The Artist reception will be August 13, 2010. This is the date not to miss. The exhibition will feature art the is the size of a post card. The art is by local artists as well as artists from across the United States. (You will have to check back after the show opening to see the cards.) The exhibit will be at LeFevre Hall on the Ohio State University Campus in Newark, Ohio. The show will run will run through September 17, 2010. I hope you will come see the exhibit if you can and if you can't, I hope you check back and see the cards here.

e-motion

June 25 from 6-9 at the LCA gallery downtown Newark, Fina and I will open our art show "e-motion". This is a new venture for the both of us. It will feature art films created by us. The films will only be shown on Friday night, but the rest of the mont, there will be prints from the films displayed for sale in the gallery. I hope you can come!!

Sweet

There are some things in life that are beyond words. The way you feel about someone. The way you feel about your children. There isn't always a need for words. A look can say it all.

Introducing.....Fanji!!!

About 3 years ago, I had this dream about a dog and his name was Fanji. I drew a quick sketch of him in my sketch book so I wouldn't forget him.

Now I am ready to introduce him!! He is so simple, but I have plans for him. I am going to be making t-shirts, pendellaz, key chains and who knows what else featuring Fanji. You are the first to see him!!

April Show

The next show that I have coming up, along with my mom, is the Outsider Art Fair. It will be on April 18th from 11:00-5:00. It will be held at the Holiday Inn Capitol Square in Columbus, OH.
I really need to get busy. I have a lot of stuff to make for this show. I need to make some books, more pendellaz, and other stuff I haven't thought of yet.
My mom, Willa, will have her amazing art dolls there along with some other cool stuff.

New Stuff!!

It has been awhile since my last post. There has been a lot happening. This April, my mom, Willa, and I will once again have a booth at the Outsider Art Fair at Artiscape. My friend Fina and I along with a fellow artist, will be presenting a show in July at the Licking County Arts Gallery featuring our art films. Then in August it is "Post Expressions", organized by Willa and I. This art show will feature post card size art. (I will post the call for entries later) (or you can visit robinwillow.blogspot.com and get a copy). September brings "Tempted Again". The second show for Fina and I with the theme "Tempted". Our first show was last June at the Knox County Art League. "Tempted Again" will again be held at the Knox County Art League. Oh, and then in October, I am chairing "Paper Cuts". This art show will feature paper arts. This show will be at the Licking County Arts Gallery. I will be posting more detailed information about all of these upcoming events.

I also have created a new line of jewelry. It is called "Pendellaz". They are original art design pendants.
