Etched Ammo Casings

I discovered the art of etching on metal, by accident, last summer.  I was looking up something unrelated on the internet and came across a picture of an etching on metal.  I was so intrigued, I had to try it.  I researched the rest of the evening on how this technique was done and before turning out the lights for the night, my order was already placed on Amazon for the items I needed.

While I waited for my supplies to arrive, I got out a Sharpie and started to draw on some ammo casings that I had.  After my supplies arrived, I went right to work.  My first etchings turned out like this...
